About
Milat (מילת היום — “word of the day”) shows a single curated word each day in Hebrew and Italian. Hebrew entries include nikud. The app stays intentionally minimal: one screen for the daily pair, no quizzes or flashcards. Home screen widgets are available in several sizes so the word is visible without opening the app. Hebrew words are hand-curated toward practical, conversational vocabulary you might not see in a typical classroom or ulpan track; Italian words are AI-assisted.
- One Hebrew and one Italian word per day
- Hebrew spellings with nikud
- Hand-curated Hebrew list; Italian vocabulary AI-assisted
- Browse past daily words in history
- Listen to word pronunciation
- Single focused screen — no drills or extra modes
- Home screen widgets in multiple sizes
- Optional per-language daily notifications with configurable time
- Share the word of the day as a beautiful image card or formatted text
